Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Co Platform ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service is

The Service lets you build a "digital twin" — a knowledge base plus an AI persona that answers questions from the sources you give it. Answers are generated by a large language model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).

3. Your account

• You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live).
• One person or entity per account, unless we agree otherwise.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you — including sending it to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your twin's answers. You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or the law.

Community sharing. The Service has an optional Community feed. If you choose to publish a note to it, you grant us and other users a licence to display that note — and to let their interactions ask your twin about it — to the audience you select (public, friends, or private), for as long as it remains published. This is entirely opt-in and per note; nothing in your knowledge base is shared until you publish it, and you can stop sharing it. Don't publish content you don't have the right to share publicly. 5. Acceptable use

• Don't upload illegal content, malware, or material you don't have the rights to.
• Don't use the Service to harass, deceive, or impersonate others.
• Don't attempt to break tenant isolation, access other users' data, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or scrape twins you weren't given access to.
• Don't resell or abuse the Service in a way that imposes unreasonable load.

To report abuse, harmful content, or a copyright/DMCA concern, use the ⚐ Report link on any page in a twin's knowledge base, or email vincent.jialun@gmail.com. We review reports and may suspend or take down twins that violate these Terms.

6. AI & accuracy

Your twin produces machine-generated text. It can be confidently wrong, can misremember your sources, and should defer to you on anything it isn't sure about. Verify anything that matters. You're responsible for how you and your guests use your twin's output.

7. Plans & billing

• The Service offers a Free plan and paid Basic ($9/month) and Pro ($19/month) plans. Current details are on the pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe) and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with a statutory withdrawal or cancellation right (for example, the EU/UK 14-day right), that right still applies.
• Prices are shown exclusive of taxes. Any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST is added at checkout where we're required to collect it.
• A reasonable fair-use limit protects the Service from runaway costs; normal personal use never reaches it. We may adjust prices with advance notice.
• Gift tickets are a one-time purchase that donates one month of the Service to another registered user. They are not gift cards or stored value: no monetary balance is stored in them, they are issued and redeemable only by us for the Service itself, they are non-transferable, and they cannot be exchanged, resold, or redeemed for cash. If a gift-ticket purchase is fully refunded, the donated month (or its unused remainder) is withdrawn.
• Service credit we grant (for example referral rewards or a claimed gift ticket) applies only to your use of the Service, has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may be revoked in cases of abuse or where the underlying payment is refunded or disputed.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your twins or your entire account at any time from your twin's admin page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we're required to act on by law. On deletion, your content is permanently removed (see the Privacy Policy).

9. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, announced in the Service. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
